Optima - Pitch
"Stop the scroll" is a phrase I often hear from stakeholders. How do we create an engaging visual that stops the endless user scroll of social media? What follows is a rough concept that I've storyboarded inside of Cinema 4D. All of the assets were modeled by me. Nothing to license or purchase. No AI was used. This is all protected and safe for commercial use. If the idea resonates, a polished final version can be rendered and delivered. This represents only two days of work.

50's Sci-Fi
Watch the full short film here. I have a soft spot for the science fiction films of the 1950s—specifically The Blob and Forbidden Planet. The Atomic Bride From Beyond was our homage to this era of atomic horror. The idea was simple, an invasion begins with an alien intelligence controlling the bodies of recently-deceased humans. Okay, not entirely original. There's a little "Plan 9 From Outer Space" in the plot, but the premise was enough to show how an invasion begins on a v

The Escape (Star Wars)
Watch the full short here. Like most Xennials, I was obsessed with Star Wars when I was a kid. I saw The Empire Strikes Back on HBO when I was 8 (1991) and was instantly hooked. The franchise had an earned reputation for merchandising, but by 1991 it had all vanished from the shelves of toy stores and its television spin-offs had been short-lived. I had only two avenues to indulge my new fandom: The Thrawn books and a making of documentary, "From Star Wars to Jedi." I wasn't

3D Marble Run
Marble run created in Cinema 4D Athanasios Pozantzis hosted a series of demonstrations by Lionel Vicidomini over on Cineversity outlining Lionel's process for creating marble simulations. For years now, the "motor" and "spring" functions have been hiding there in the simulations menu, untouched by me. Until now... Rendered in Redshift I'd built a small scale marble run as a test project, but this was the grand finale to my week of marble experiments, the world's most needless

3D Pinball
Created in Cinema 4D + After Effects This pinball machine began as a concept for the landing page animation. I was able to find the dimensions for pinball machines thanks to a robust network of DIY pinball builders and enthusiasts. Everything here is to scale, including the 6.5 degree tilt of the game board itself. As for the animation, I wanted the movement to be grounded in physics. The ball, tabletop, pop bumpers, flippers, and plunger are all rigid bodies with default gra
